Ghost setting for Window Vista

To ghost back pc with Windows Vista business

The problem

Window Vista Business will not start properly after the image is ghost back with Ghost cast server b

Solution

Go to ghost folder and type in command in DOS prompt

ghost -fdsp

and start the ghost process

HP DL380G6 smart array controller not detected

Description of the problem:

DL380G6 server while booting up could not detect the smart array controller hence cannot configure the hard disk for installation purpose.

Solution:

This problem happens because at the Bios level, while boot up the system boot order level controller 1 is set to SATA 1 controller. The solution is to change this controller to controller 2 and the smart array controller will be changed to controller 1 automatically.
